Winter Holiday Card Contest
Create and enter your own winter holiday card!
Cards are an excellent opportunity to make contacts and open doors for networking. It’s also a reminder that the mental health community is creative, active, and prepared for the next legislative session!
Use Your Artistic Talent to Advocate!
Last year we mailed HOLIDAY CARDS TO STATE OFFICIALS in December (see past example of a holiday card below). This is an annual KTP contest. We will mail Holiday cards again in December 2012. During election years, KTP also holds a “Congratulations” Card Contest.
In addition, KTP prints and sells general/blank cards in packs of 8 that are available for purchase year-round. Please call KTP if you are interested in purchasing some cards at: (860) 882-0236; (800) 215-3021.
The cards will be professionally printed and distributed in November and December and sent to legislators during the holiday season. Please note that Holiday card submissions MUST BE SECULAR. Drawings, paintings, photographs and other original art may be considered for the contest. Please limit size of submission to 8.5 X 11” or smaller. Colors are unlimited. Submissions must be received NO LATER THAN Friday, October 19TH in order to meet our printing deadline. Mail entries to: Keep the Promise Coalition, c/o NAMI-CT, 241 Main Street, 5th Floor, Hartford, CT 06106.
