VISIBILITY PATROL
The Visibility Patrol or “VP’s” are folks who volunteer to be visible at public hearings, rallies or lobby days at the LOB and Capitol as well as locally.  Individuals or groups can sit in on hearings with their KTP buttons or tee shirts to show legislators that we are here to stay!  This helps to keep mental health issues visible during the legislative session.

Keep the Promise will help you coordinate advocacy efforts.  Stipends are available for transportation, childcare costs and food.  However, a stipend request form must be filled out and preapproved and you will be reimbursed after the event.  Download the stipend PDF form here.

To get your KTP buttons, simply call our office at 860-882-0236 or ask Cheri for one at the event.  Tee shirts are awarded to volunteers at the annual award ceremony in September.  Be sure to let us know when you have participated in an event so that we can include your name for the Visibility Patrol award at the ceremony!

Feel free to contact us with any questions by email or at 860-882-0236.
